Custom-Cut Rug Pads
Klean Rug of Charlotte is proud to carry an environmentally responsible, long lasting selection of rug pads that can be cut to size, or custom fit to your individual rug shapes and sizes.
Our rug pads are all Green Label Plus certified by the Carpet & Rug Institute, are washable, are made from 100% recycled materials, and are 100% recyclable. They are odor-free, are non-toxic, non-allergenic, and will not stain your flooring. They are also safe to use over radiant heat floors.
Two of our rug pads even offer a Pet Urine Barrier to help protect your floors from the damaging effects of pet urine stains.

Stain & UV Protection
In homes where spills, high traffic areas, and pets are a concern, it is a good idea to have a professional fiber protection treatment applied to your fine area rugs to reduce the kind of permanent discoloration that these hazards can cause.
Our solvent-based fiber protection delivers a fast, even bonding of stain and UV protection to the fibers of your area rugs. It is formulated to be used on all fiber types without risk of rapid resoiling, texture change, dye bleed, or discoloration. Re-application after professional rug cleaning is recommended, as protectors generally work best on new or newly cleaned rugs.
Wool Rug Revitalizer
If you’ve got older Oriental rugs, you know how they can lose their sheen and the fibers start to feel stiff to the touch.
Adding a wool revitalizing treatment to your service package can make all the difference!

Moth Identification & Treatment
If you’ve got wool or silk textiles, always be checking for classic red-flag signs of an active moth infestation. If you see any of the following, call us!
- Odd bare spots or missing fibers
- Tiny beige flying moths
- Small white larvae
- White webbing or cocoons
If we spot a live moth infestation, your rugs will be contained and taken to be treated and deep-cleaned. After they have been cleaned, we’ll consult with you about any visible damage that may need repairing.
In all live infestation cases, we strongly recommend that you consult with a pest control company to assess your home for moth treatment.
Wrapping & Storage
Once the work on your area rugs has been completed, we will call you to arrange delivery. All rugs must be returned to their owners within 30 days unless storage has been pre-arranged with us. Storage fees are assessed per rug, per month.
Any rug being placed into storage must first be washed, treated with a moth repellant, and then properly wrapped.

Spot & Stain Remover
Klean Rug of Charlotte is happy to offer our customers a fiber-safe, color-safe, enzymatic spotting agent made specifically for use on the fibers and dyes associated with Oriental rugs and other designer area rugs.
Avoid harsh pH over-the-counter spotting chemicals and pick up a better option!
