Frequently Asked Questions
How can I tell if my rug has moths?
Rug moths are very different than the moths you see flying around your porch light. They are tiny, beige moths that use the proteins found in the core of wool or silk fibers for food. They like to get under your rugs or into any area where wool or silk is undisturbed.
Even if you don’t see them flying around, they leave some tell-tale signs like webbing or cocoons, larvae, gritty sand-like eggs, and unusual holes or missing fibers.
If you think you have a moth problem in your home, call us to remove your rugs for treatment, and then call an exterminator to treat your home. Unfortunately, a moth infestation can talk a long time to eradicate, but we’re here to help!
